  IUR-fm is a community owned and operated Radio Station established to provide a valuable service to the people of Newry by promoting active local participation.
IÚR-fm seeks to Educate, Inform, Entertain and Represent the entire geographic Community of Newry City and surrounding district.
The station offers new opportunities by:
Promoting the Local Area;
Providing training for Young and Old;
Supporting Local Businesses (especially in the SME sector);
Providing coverage of local news and sports
Providing a forum to showcase new local Talent;
Promoting the ethos of Volunteering and Social Development;
Communicating details of Events and Initiatives taking place locally
Providing the Community at large with a medium by which they can express their Views, Concerns, Aspirations & Successes.
